Abstract

Abstract Historical learning develops historical thinking skills which form the basis for students to develop high-level thinking skills. Based on observations of historical learning in class XI IPS 2 Jenggawah Public High School has the ability related to the low level of high-thinking skills, things discussed: (1) the material presented by educators only focuses on the facts of the study in accordance with the findings and figures from history; (2) 80% of students are only able to answer questions in the cognitive domains C1 and C2; (3) learning methods used in the classroom still use conventional learning methods. Based on these considerations, brain-based learning strategies are used to improve high-level thinking skills and student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to improve the high-level thinking skills of students in class XI IPS 2 through the application of brain-based learning strategies in learning history in the State High School of Senior High School. The design of the study using the Kemmis and Taggart models, the method of data collection uses the observation, interview, documentation and test models. The results showed the percentage of high-level thinking skills of students, as follows: (1) in the first cycle of analysis indicators of 58.59%, in the second cycle was 73.44%, and in the third cycle 81.30%; (2) on the second cycle indicators obtained at 52.34%, in the second cycle obtained at 68.75%, and in the third cycle 79.70%; (3) on the indicator of creating cycle 1 obtained at 48.44%, in cycle 2 it was 64.06%, and in cycle 3 it was 76.60%. While the learning outcomes of students in cycle 1 obtained an average of 70.5. In cycle 2 it is 77.03 and in cycle 3 is 78.93. Abstract

Industrial Revolution 4.0 era became a new era that used many virtual and sophisticated technologies. For this reason, it is necessary to develop learning media that meet the demands of the industrial revolution era 4.0 and 2013 curriculum. Analysis learner is carried out at SMA 1 Tanggul, SMAN 2 Tanggul, and SMAN Jenggawah with 106 respondents indicating 99% of students consider history important to learn. 23% of students understand historical material, and 71% of students want learning media in the form of videos that are not boring. The purpose of this research is to develop inquiry-based stopmotion learning media that is validated by experts and has high effectiveness for use in historical learning. The research method used is the Bord and Gall development model. Data collection techniques used observation, questionnaire, interview, and test. The results of the expert validation test on the development of learning media were: material experts 82% with good qualifications, media experts and design 82.5% with good qualifications. User test results are 88% with good qualifications. Product effectiveness can be seen from the gain score. Small group trials gained a gain score 0.9 with qualifications having high effectiveness and large group trials gained a gain score of 0.8 with qualifications having high effectiveness. Based on the results presented, inquiry-based stopmotion learning media can be used as a learning media of history learning in schools for students.

Abstract

Radya Pustaka Museum was founded by KRA Sosrodiningrat IV on October 28, 1890, which aims to preserve the art of Javanese culture. The management of the Radya Library museum from 2008 - 2018 was performed by the committee and Technical Unit Implementation as well as support from the Surakarta City Government. Efforts to preserve cultural heritage objects carried out by managers of the Radya Library Library must be based on regulations set by the government. Method this study enganger of historical study. The results of the research show that since 2008 - 2018 the Radya Library library has undergone two changes of management, namely since 2008 the museum was managed by a committee with the assistance of a grant from the Surakarta City government and in 2016 - 2018 the museum has been transferred under the control of the Surakarta Cultural Service UPT museum and operational funds are obtained from the Surakarta City Government Budget. Preservation of Cultural Heritage in the Radya Pustaka museum is based on the Law on Cultural Heritage No. 11 of 2010. The museum preserves cultural heritage was encouraged by the existence of an ancient manuscript of the Kasunanan palace which was not maintained and to grow interest for cultural heritage to the community. Since 2008 - 2018 Radya Library management was managed by the committee and Technical Unit Implementation. Efforts to preserve cultural heritage in the Radya Pustaka museum by implementing protection, development and utilization of cultural heritage. Keywords: Management, Radya Pustaka, Preservation.

Abstract

The art of Jaran Bodhag is an interesting traditional art and has it’s own uniquenesscompared to the other form of the art of Jaranan. Jaran Bodhag is the result of the inovationof people in Probolinggo, because they can’t perfom Jaran Kencak. This art became theicon of Probolinggo that shows the Pandhalungan culture of Probolinggo. The problems inthis research are: What is the reason behind the creation of Jaran Bodhag?; How is theexistence of the art of Jaran Bodhag during 2004-2017 in Probolinggo? ; What is the artist,people, and the government of Probolingo effort to preserve the existence of the art ofJaran Bodhag in Probolinggo? The purpose of this research is to describe the existence ofthe art of Jaran Bodhag during 2004-2017. The research method that being used is hitoricalresearch method with the cultural anthropology approach and functionalism theory. Thisresearch is expected to give a contribution and information about the connection ofPendhalungan culture and the existence of Jaran Bodhag. The conclusion of this research isthe the reason behind the creation of Jaran Bodhag and it’s existential form during 20042017,and the artist, people, and the government of Probolingo effort to preserve theexistence of the art of Jaran Bodhag.

Abstract

Abstract Football is the most beloved sport in Indonesia, not only by adults, children, even women play it. Football clubs are also an expression of identity for regional and. Almost every region has a football club, no exception in Lumajang district. The Lumajang Indonesian Football Association (PSIL) has a long history of National Association. But the history of the establishment until the competition in Indonesia is still a junction. Prolonged internal problems have an impact on achievement in competitions. The highest achievement by PSIL Lumajang was able to pass the Division I in 2001 and then Fakum participated in the competition. In 2012 PSIL Lumajang was able to penetrate the division I again until the competition system changed in the year 2017 to Liga 3. During the 1947 to 2018 period, PSIL Lumajang experienced a rise in progress and achievement. Keywords: Sepak bola, PSIL, Lumajang.

Abstract

Abstract Historical learning has skills that are able to develop a level of critical thinking. Based on the thinking about learning in class XI IPS 3 Cluring 1 Public High School has a low level of critical thinking skills, with discussion: (1) the material delivered is monotonous; (2) more than 50% of students are only able to answer questions in a low cognitive domain; (3) the media used in learning still use conventional media. The results showed a percentage of the increase in critical thinking skills, as follows: (1) focusing questions in cycle 1 of 51.47%, cycle 2 of 64.70%, cycle 3 of 76.47%; (2) analyzing arguments in cycle 1 by 50%, cycle 2 by 61.02%, cycle 3 by 70.58%; (3) asking and answering in cycle 1 is 52.20%, cycle 2 is 62.25%, cycle 3 is 71.32%; (4) estimation of source credibility in cycle 1 is 54.41%, cycle 2 is 60.29%, cycle 3 is 78.67%; (5) rounds and consideration of the first discussion cycle of 48.52%, cycle 2 was 66.17%, cycle 3 was 77.94%; (6) evaluation of the results of the discussion in cycle 1 was 48.52%, cycle 2 was 62.50%, cycle 3 was 71.32%; (7) consider the results of cycle 1 of 55.14%, cycle 2 of 66.17%, cycle 3 of 77.94%; (8) make cycle 1 61.76%, cycle 2 72.79%, cycle 3 77.20; (9) the term transition in cycle 1 is 50%, cycle 2 is 58.82%, cycle 3 is 77.20%; (10) Cycle thinking in cycle 1 is 53.67%, cycle 2 is 63.23%, cycle 3 is 70.58%; (11) determine the cycle in cycle 1 of 52.47%, cycle 2 is 64.70%, cycle 3 is 72.05%; (12) cycle with other people in the first cycle of 59.55%, cycle 2 was 64.47%, cycle 3 was 83.83%. learning outcomes obtained on average in cycle 1 were 73.08, cycle 2 was 75.73 and cycle 3 was 76.17.

Abstract

During the reign of Caliph Ali bin Abi Talib emerged three groups in Islam who would later continud to provide a complete picture of differences in Islam, both politically, ideologically, and culturally. The groups were the Syiah, the Khawarij and the Sunni. The formulation in this study are; 1) the background and process of the emergence of 3 groups in Islam namely Syiah, Khawarij and Sunni 35 - 41 H in the Arabian Peninsula, 2) how was the life developments of the 3 groups in Islam namely Syiah, Khawarij and Sunni years 35 - 41 H / 656-661 M in the Arabian Peninsula, and 3) how the impact of the emergence of Islam into 3 groups namely Syiah, Khawarij and Sunni 35 - 41 AH / in the Arabian Peninsula. This study uses the Political approach and Ibn Khaldun's Conflict theory. The results of this study are the existence of political interests and the emergence of power struggles between Muslims which ended in the form of firqah, the three political groups that emerged and had great influence were Syiah (pro-Ali), Khawarij (counter-Ali) and Sunni (some pro-Muawiyah, part pro-Ali and partially neutral). The impact of the emergence of these three groups in Islam finally formed differences and separations between groups with other groups, both ideologically, politically and culturally.

Abstract

The One Suro Siraman Ritual at Sedudo Waterfall is one of the traditional ceremonies performed every month Suro by the Ngliman Village people who take place at the Sedudo Waterfall tour. The main purpose of the Suro watering ceremony held at the Sedudo waterfall is as a tribute and respect for Mbah Ageng Wali Ngaliman who is considered to be the forerunner of Ngliman Village and as a thanksgiving to God for the blessings given to the people of Ngliman Village. Discussing the changes in the Suro splash ritual at Sedudo Waterfall has never changed in the core of its ritual activities because it is a tradition for the people of Ngliman Village who do not dare to change the core procession of the Suro splash ritual in the Sedudo waterfall, but the changes are seen in the transition of the waterfall manager Sedudo from the Ngliman Village Government to the Nganjuk District Government and the changes were also seen in terms of the costumes of dancers used in the splash ritual every year the costume changes were intended to attract the attention of tourists to come to see the Suro watering ritual at the Sedudo Waterfall.

Abstract

Jalalludin Muhammad Akbar is the third king of the Mughal Empire. The Mughal empireis an Islamic-style kingdom that flourished in the western Indian region in the 16thcentury. Mughal in Akbar experienced a golden era that runs a policy strategy such as thepolitical, economic, religious and cultural fields. This study aims to (1) examine thebackground of Jalalluddin Muhammad Akbar's government in India in 1556-1605 AD, (2)to examine the role of Jalalludin Muhammad Akbar in applying Mughal governmentpolicy in India, (3) to examine the results achieved Mughal Work in India on the reign ofJalalludin Muhammad Akbar in India. This research uses historical research methods,with four phases of heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The policy ofSultan Akbar's rule was seen as the forerunner of the Mughal forces by the unity of theHindustan society under the Mughal alliance. In the political field Sultan Akbar optimizedthe political system of sulh-e-kul with a base of military power. The economy implementsa trading system with a fair tax system in accordance with income. Multiculturalism in theHindustan lands alters Akbar's thoughts on the field of Mughal religion and art, theapplication of Divine Providence is used inter-religious intolerance in India while in thearts there is a cultural acculturation to cultivate Mughal characteristics. The adoption ofAkbar's policies in 1556-1605 AD led to social change in society to balance the systemrunning in India. These changes led to progress and good relations between Mughal andthe people of Hindustan.

Abstract

The oral tradition of Untung Suropati is message or stories about Untung Suropati that aretold from generation to generation oral. The oral tradition does not include eye witnesswhich is oral data, but is transmitted from one generation to another. Function of oraltradition of Untung Suropati value is a projection system or reflection and as aneducational amenity. The results of the research obtained are contextual backgrouds of theoral tradition in the form of recitations that have been exitedfor a long time, posibly sincethe death of Untung Suropati. The oral tradition in the form of procession Kirab Pataka waexamined by a team established by Hari Jadi Kota Pasuuan cooperated with DinasPendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kota Pasuruan in 2002. The oral tradition in the form ofdance drama (dramatari) introduced by art studios of Dharma Budaya. Embodiment ofUntung Suropati story in each of the oral tradition obtains a different story. Historicalvalue in the oral tradition which can be engaged as a historical source is the form ofprocession Kirab Pataka.
